Nature of the service
Attia Performance provides sports training guidance, running-plan organisation, and performance tracking based on information the athlete enters or authorises. The platform and coach do not diagnose illness or injury, provide treatment or rehabilitation, prescribe medication, or grant medical clearance to exercise.
The athlete's health responsibility
The athlete remains responsible for assessing whether exercise is appropriate. Anyone with a known condition, unresolved injury, persistent pain, concerning symptom, or uncertainty about exercise should seek advice from a qualified health professional before starting or increasing training.
When to stop and seek help
Stop exercise and seek appropriate medical help for chest pain or pressure, fainting, severe dizziness, unusual shortness of breath, severe palpitations, or sharp or worsening pain. The platform does not interpret these symptoms and is not a substitute for medical assessment.
Limits of automated changes and coach review
The platform may conservatively adjust training around the goal, available time, training history, and reported readiness. No automated or coach decision guarantees an outcome or prevents injury. Exceptions stop routine progression and enter a coach queue; the coach's role remains training guidance, not medical care.
Accurate information and privacy
Personalisation depends on accurate information. Athletes should report material changes such as pain, injury, or illness. The platform uses the minimum information needed for training and records the accepted terms, version, and date in the production service.
